Recent research shows that the number of marketing jobs in the UK is rising. In a survey carried out by Reed, the national generalist recruitment agency, the number of jobs offered during May in the charity or not-for-profit section rose most sharply when compared with figures for April. This trend was mirrored, albeit less sharply, by an increase in the number of public relations and marketing jobs. Cambridge-based marketing recruitment agency Brand Recruitment also experienced a rise in the number of new marketing vacancies they were briefed on by clients. Whilst the monthly increase was relatively small at just over 4%, the market is definitely strengthening. Vicki Kelly of Brand Recruitment observes, -œThe number of new roles we were briefed on in May 2010 is more than double the equivalent figure for May 2009, and represents a 25% increase on May 2008. The market is as strong as we have ever seen it.- The agency recruits across the Eastern region, and it seems the revival is present throughout this area, -œNaturally around areas such as Milton Keynes and St. Albans, there are more marketing jobs compared with the less populated, more rural parts of Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk, yet the upsurge is definitely taking place across the whole of our region.- With the anticipation and uncertainty which preceded the election now things of the past, the outlook for marketing job-seekers across the Eastern region seems far brighter. For more info,Please visit recruitment agency st albans For more information on marketing jobs in the Eastern Region see http://www.brandrecruitment.co.uk/index http://www.brandrecruitment.co.uk/pr-and-marketing-jobs-in/Essex Related Articles - Marketing jobs, PR jobs, Recruitment, East Anglia, Email this Article to a Friend!
