Yoga is a great workout
with a lot of health benefits but did you know that it could also treat
homorrhoids? Who would have thought that hemorrhoids and yoga can be
found in the same sentence? Hemorrhoids are inflamed blood vessels near
the anus and doing yoga poses can help improve blood circulation and
reduce inflammation. Yoga also provides a lot of benefits to improve
overall health. People hate having hemorrhoids and yoga can be used
to prevent and treat them. The following yoga poses will help you cope
with having piles. The candle pose, or supported shoulder stand,
improves blood circulation. It also promotes proper liver, thyroid and
immune functions. Lie down on your back on a thick mat or folded
blanket, making sure that your upper back is properly supported by the
mat so it won't hurt. Raise your legs up towards the sky and keep your
legs closed. Lift your hips off the mat and use your hands to support
your hips or lower back. Aim for the legs being perpendicular to your
upper body and the floor. Hold for as long as you want.
Inverted yoga poses promote better blood circulation. A more advanced
inverted pose is the supported headstand. This pose also improves pineal
and pituitary gland function. Again, use a thick mat or blanket to
support your head. Kneel on your mat or blanket and bend forward to
place the top of your head on your mat. Place your forearms on both
sides of your head and clasp your hands behind your head. Lean forward
to shift the weight onto your head and arms while raising your legs up
towards the sky. Try to achieve a straight line with your body and hold
the pose for as long as you want. An easier inverted pose is the
-œlegs up- pose. Place your mat against a wall and lie down. Your
pelvis should be propped against the wall so that only your upper body
is on the mat and your legs are against the wall. This is a very easy
pose and you can do this everyday to prevent hemorrhoids. The fish
pose offer the same benefits as the candle pose with added tension
relief in the shoulders. Use a yoga mat and lie on your back while
keeping your legs straight and your arms to your side. Press your chest
off the floor while pushing onto the top of your head. Tilt your chin
back, keep your arms by your side or under your lower back and hold the
pose for at least 30 seconds. Do 1-3 reps. There are more simple
poses that you can do that does not require as much strength and
flexibility as the previous poses. Stand with feet together and bend at
the waist to reach your toes, or your knees. For more info,Please visit hemorrhoids piles
This is called the forward fold. Doing squats will prevent and treat
constipation. Go into a squat position and hold for as long as you can.
